The Gap Year

Everyone else from Rowan's graduating class went straight to college. Rowan got a job at a garden center, a studio apartment with a leaky tap, and a year that was supposed to be about figuring things out. Mostly it's about repotting ferns and lying to relatives. A wry, gentle contemporary story about the pressure to have a plan and the slow surprise of building one anyway.
