My Dad, the Mascot

Eighth-grader Wesley has exactly one goal this year: survive middle school unnoticed. This is made significantly harder when his out-of-work father takes the only job in town — being Chompers, the foam-costumed mascot for the local minor-league baseball team. A goofy, secretly tender comedy about embarrassment, money troubles a kid isn't supposed to see, and loving your weird dad anyway.
